Areas that have shopping available will have a dollar sign legend on the map. The Hub is Onverse’s main shopping center, but there are stores on Volcano Island, Ancient Moon, and every type of estate and land plot. Stores update their inventory every 30 minutes, so check back often to see what’s new. Onverse uses a dual currency model for shopping, the currencies are: Player Points (PP) and Cash Coins (CC).
Items in Onverse are divided into five different tiers (categories). The tier of an item can be identified by the color of its name in the info window, the glow below the item on the shopping platform, and its cost:
Player Points (PP) are the free currency in Onverse. PP are acquired through the use of tools on tool targets or by playing games and participating in competitions. PP can also be converted from CC. PP can be used to buy approximately half of the items in the game.
VIP is an optional subscription based service within Onverse, and it includes many benefits, especially when shopping is involved. VIP members receive:
20% decrease in the price of every item
50% increase in inventory limit
20% increase in your home’s furniture limit
Exclusive items
A monthly stipend of 1,000 CC
The ability to test new content before anyone else
