Important Security Information

As an indie studio, our executable files are not currently code-signed. This means you may see security warnings from Windows Defender or your browser when downloading or running the installer.

Windows Users: If Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer, click "More info" and then "Run anyway" to proceed with the installation. This isn't anything to worry about, our software is safe, but Windows doesn't always recognize unsigned publishers.

Chrome Users: If Chrome blocks the download, we recommend to select "Keep" on download if available. Alternatively, use Firefox or Edge, which may be more permissive with indie software downloads.

We're working on obtaining proper code signing certificates, but as a small team, this is a significant investment we're prioritizing for the near future.

Installation Steps

Download ovTwo Launcher

Click the download link above. The file will download to your chosen location. Select "Keep" to proceed if the download is blocked by your browser.

Run the Installer

Double-click the downloaded file and follow the installation wizard. Choose your preferred installation directory.

Bypass Security Warnings

If you see a security warning, click "More info" or "Show details", then select "Run anyway".

Download Patches

Once installed, launch ovTwo and await for the full game files to download.

Launch and Login

Once installed, Hit PLAY and log in with the account you created. Welcome home!

Native macOS Support is Here!

As of April 19th, 2026, ovTwo now officially supports macOS! Our universal build works on both Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) and Intel Macs.

Note: macOS support is brand new, so you may encounter some bugs. If you run into any issues, please report them on our Discord or using the in-game bug reporting feature so we can improve the experience for everyone.

Installation Steps

Download ovTwo Launcher

Click the download link above. The .dmg file will download to your chosen location.

Open the DMG File

Double-click the downloaded .dmg file to mount it. A window will open showing the ovTwo Launcher app.

Install to Applications

Drag the ovTwo Launcher app into your Applications folder. You can then eject the mounted disk image.

Confirm the Download

On first launch, macOS will show a dialog confirming the app was downloaded from the internet. Click "Open" to proceed.

Download Patches

Once launched, wait for the full game files to download.

Launch and Login

Once installed, hit PLAY and log in with the account you created. Welcome home!

Linux Support Planned

Future support for Linux is planned. In the meantime, you may be able to use one of the unsupported alternatives below.

Alternative Options (Unsupported)

While we work on Linux support, you may be able to run ovTwo using Wine or Proton, though these methods are not officially supported. We cannot provide technical support for Wine/Proton compatibility issues.

Alternatively, you can use virtualization software like VirtualBox or QEMU/KVM to run Windows and install ovTwo there, though performance may be limited.
